Auckland and Huss had a further bp opportunity at 4-4 but missed it and it's gone with serve to a breaker.

They have the early minibreak, lead 3-1

1st set stats:

A/H:   1st serve: 59%, won 81% of 1st serve pts and 74% of 2nd serve pts. 4 aces and 1 double fault

C/W:  1st serve: 72%, won 71% of 1st serve pts and 62% of 2nd serve pts. 1 ace and 1 double fault

So, pretty close at the moment but A/H just putting that bit more pressure on Coetzee and Wassen

Auckland and Huss win 7-6, 6-1 !!!!

What a simply amazing result !  Defeating one of the on-form pairs so far this year in straight sets !

It puts James into his first ATP final

Great result!

That 120 points should place James around 60 in the rankings but strangely a win tomorrow and an extra 55 points will only move him another 1 or 2  places.

More importantly thats 120 points 'in the bank' to be offset against the 175 due to drop off before Wimby and only a month into 2007.

Have to say I knew the result as soon as the page came up and there were dozens of clapping/jumping emoticons all over the screen!

So chuffed for Aucks, hope he can follow his final ATP final up with his first ATP title!

Thanks for the scores, looks like Huss/Aucks have found their form after two close matches earlier in the week.

Who are they up against in the final?
