Santoro won the second set 6-4.   Unfortunately, it looks like his mind promptly went walkabout, and Xabby bagelled him in the third.

Where are all Tim's pins?  (borrowed for Davydenkko duties??)


Moya beats Karlovic in the tie-break, and moves one game closer to overtaking Tim.


Benneteau  vs Koubek next. We're counting on the winner to put Moya out.


(We're counting on Nadal to get rid of Malisse in the other half)

The table's updated.


Benneteau lost to Koubek so gets no further away from tim.


Just Malisse and Moya left. Malisse needs to beat Nadal tomorrow to overtake. Moya needs to beat first Koubek, then the Malisse-Nadal winner to overtake.


So....Pins into the "M"s, and Vamos Rafa!!

Malisse beating Nadal isn't that much a shock knowing that Nadal is going downhill on hardcourts.
I dislike Nadal too much to feel bad for a single ranking place's loss. Well done to the X Man.
