Sarah Borwell will make her comeback to the circuit next week after nearly three months out injured.
The 27-year-old from Middlesbrough will travel to the Czech Republic for the $25,000 event in Valasske Mezirici.
Borwell hasn’t played a match since mid-September after a succession of unlucky injuries, the most recent being a tear in a shoulder tendon.
The world No.243 and British No.5 says that after great deliberations, she and her coach Peter Russell are confident she is ready to return to the women’s tour.
“I am finally back and excited about competing in the Czech Republic next week,” said Borwell, who won a round at Wimbledon in the summer.
“I’ve played tennis all week with my coach and realised how much I missed playing.
“My training – I hope – will pay off, as I feel a lot stronger, fitter and faster around the court.
“I have no expectations for the tournament next week, I’m just happy to be back and I hope I will surprise myself by how well I do.”

It's great that Sarah's back in action, such a shame about her injury this autumn as otherwise she would have surely made the cut for Aussie Open qualifying. Hopefully instead she can gain some sackfuls of ranking points in the GB indoor 25Ks and get back in the top 200 !!
Hrdinova also beat Sarah in this exact tournament last year, it was 6-1, 6-4 in rd2. Katie O'Brien beat her 2 and 1 in the States in the summer and she had quite a poor autumn but recently found some form in China, making a 50k quarter-final.

Yeah, looks like she upped her game in the 2nd set, if she'd been able to get that to a decider she could have gone on to win.
Sarah's now heading to Florida to train sometime over the new few weeks along with Sarah Coles, Jane O'Donoghue and Danielle Brown.
Sarah begins her 2007 season on the 8th of January with a 25k in Tampa, followed by another 25k in Florida. I'm not sure how long she plans to stay in the States for, but there are challengers there till the beginning of March.
