Idea for this forum

I've been thinking, unusual thought that is...


What do people think of changing this forum into just 'Rankings' and having all the top three's tables (and any others RobC feels like doing when he's bored); the week-by-week threads for Andy, the British top 10 and the Doubles; and any other ranking related threads, in one place?


It's just a thought as this message board has become so much more than just Andy. Please post your thoughts/comments and feel free to compeletly shout it down, I won't be offended!

not a bad idea, as you say this message board has broadend anyway with most of us also taking a keen interest in the other brits. of course on ranking a lot of that also depnds n rob and your self mainly for doing allthe groud work, but gernally the thraeds on andy and boggo ranking get god responses, i guess as both have bene making quite good rises, but measureable, and its agsint known names. hopefully a few of the other wil be strechting toward the top 150 soon.

The funny thing is that I thought of this a few days ago too!

Andy is just a single British player, so we can't be biased to him.

Is this not covered by USM's idea of britishtennis.net or whatever?

I agree the forum would be the better for some tidying up, having Andy in one section, other British men and women in other sections, then Tim and Greg separate again is proving over-complicated now that Andy and Tim are in the top 100, Boggo is making his way there and Greg is actually lower than several of the "other Brits"

I agree with you there, Madeline.

Maybe we could have a separate section for men's Tour tennis only? Where will have discussions Andy Murray or Richard Bloomfield or whoever, as long as they are playing Tour stuff.

Could we not have:


a main forum called '[British] Mens Tennis'  or whatever with subforums of:


- LATEST ANDY MURRAY NEWS (since the mb is called andy murray message board for the moment)
- MAIN ATP TOUR
- CHALLENGERS
- FUTURES
- DAVIS CUP
- RANKINGS WATCH
- MISCELLANEOUS (pictures, and articles that dont fit in with the other categories)


and a similar thing for the women


the first page would look like this:


- '[British] Mens Tennis'
- '[British] Womens Tennis'
- Chat Section/Introductions
- Other Sporting Events
- Tennis Predictions
- Member Articles


Thats just a rough idea but i think it would be easier to navigate
