think they've lost their QF doubles match as their "opponents" are down to face someone else in their half on today's OOP. The doubles draw just hasn't bee updated!
Yes, and Bubka won through a retirement even earlier in his match, so ...
FI: (1) Josh Goodall WR 246 v (4) Sergei Bubka (UKR) WR 412
The Final will be played on Sunday at 10.00 GMT. Bubka played three Brits last month, losing to Marray in 4 sets in Dnepro then beating Hutchins and Slabba in Shrewsbury. Josh has played him three times before, beating him 3 & 3 in Portugal two years ago, losing to him 5 & 3 in Barnstaple in January this year and then beating him 6 & 4 in Sheffield three weeks later.

Well it must be Josh for the title.....hope he stays in the mindset he has had all week....must be mentally tough to play knowing lower ranked players all the time and still winning well !
Wayhey! Great news. Josh could crack the top 200 with both these titles. Bubka has been in great form as he defeated a top 100 player in Dnepropetrovsk, but Josh will go in as the favourite there.
Defending these points will be tough next year but he will gain entry into most Challengers with his ranking.
Superb set of results, he did extremely well to go through the tournament and not drop a set against several tricky opponents. I wasn't sure whether he'd win today as Bubka's been in great form over the past month but from the scoreline it looks as though it was a routine win
18 points from the tournament, I think that'll take him up to a career high in the low 220s
Hopefully he can continue this form in the 2nd 15K this week
By the way, great avatar's Drew and Greenleaf Which site did you use for those slideshows ?
I think futures are a bit below Josh's level now and a lot of his points are from F events. Hopefully he can keep the form that got him through the USO qualies and consistently get himself into challenger QF and SF rounds.
I'm glad he has til WEdnesday tor ecover as these two events could prove to be a masterstroke in his career, giving him Direct Entry into better challengers to start next year!
