I saw Andy in the french open juniors and although he lost in the semis we all thought that he would go far having seen his match against Del Potro in the quarters. He displayed all the qualities of a clay-court class act, clever drop shots catching Del Potro off guard, that lovely looping forehand down the line and a great topspin kick serve which works so well on clay. But most of all his athleticism impressed us. Del Potro hits the ball hard but Andy got to his every shot.
Can't wait for him in the Roland Garros main draw next year. We were so disappointed when he didn't play TMS Paris.
I play tennis and am the local U16 champion. I hope to play tennis professionally either as a player or a coach. I love clay courts but hate indoor courts "
