RE: Boggo's competitors week 47

1500 posts!!

Peya is knocked out of Kawana Gil  is kocked out of Puebla

Hartfield hadvances in Naples

So.....The permutations now are:

If Alex Wins the Tournament He'll advance up to 121st - up 2. Norman & Peya are out   Hartfield or  Bozoljac can overtake if they are finalists in Naples; and  Russell if he wins in Naples.  A max of one can overtake, so worst case is WR 122th - up 1.

If Alex is a finalist: He'll advance up to 127th - down 4. Peya is out.Navarro-Pastor will overtake him if he's the other finalist in Shrewsbury; Bozoljac and Hartfield need to make the Naples semis; and  Russell must win in Naples. A max of three can overtake, so worst case is 130th - down 7.

If Alex makes the semis:  He'll get up to 130th. Peya  is out. Hartfield  and Navarro-Pastor  are already out of reach. Bozoljac needs to make the Naples quarters;  Russell must be a finalist in Naples, and Berlocq  must win there. A max of two can overtake, so worst case is 132nd - down 9.

If Alex loses today's QF: He'll stay at 137th Hartfield is already out of reach. Russell must be in the Naples semis, and Berlocq  must win there. A max of two can overtake, so worst case is 139th - down 16.

Navarro- Pastor plays Karanusic in Shrewsbury today.

Bozoljac plays Russell tonight in Naples. Berlocq  plays Nunez.

If Alex wins today, pins into Bozo. If he loses, Pins into Russell!

Any spare go into Nav-Pas & Berlocq!

Hey Rob. Congrats on the 1500 posts! I didn't know we celebrated the 500's as well as the 1000's!

Looking a bit better for Boggo than it did at the start of the week!

He's first on centre today at 10.30

 - well, you celebrate what you can!  I've finally made it to futures quali level - you never know, I might get a ranking point or two....

As for Alex - the 10 points he gets if he wins today will be the big leap. It's very congested between 140 and 130

I'm delighted for you!

Hopefully with one or two points you can start getting seeded and with a few wins start qualifying for challengers! Its tough work here in the challengers, but I had a great week in Dnetpropovosk which has given me confidence for next year!

Really hope Al can win today! He ought to beat Ryderstedt, and get a nice points tally even if hecan't get any further than that!

Right. Pins into Bozo as requested, and the next wax model is ready to be turned into either Meffert or Berrer

I reckon today's win seals an aussie open top 16 seeding now, so no-one ranked above him between him and qualification.

But with his recent luck in draws he'll probably face Canas

Is it possible that after this week's performance, he will take the SE into Maui and try for a direct entry into the AO?

The table's updated for the Shrewsbury results. I've had to extend it upwards - and our old friend Sluiter comes into view.........

Nav- Pas also advances. as does Zverev.

Onto Bozo  and Berlocq.

- I'll start to look at what everyone's defending next week......hopefully a DE into Chennai or wherever will defend those 5 points!

i dont think so, the reports are coming back that he is very tired and cant wait for the season to finish, and i havent heard anything to suggest he would go there, (he would need a wc i believe as players you could be MD but chose not to enter dont get se's i think)

if his body is telling him he needs the break then he should take it.

I think that you can take the SE even if you aren't on the lists.

But if he is tired, rest is the best option.

the only reason i say he cant was that he couldt play anywhere the week after mons, he missed the atps qualies, but didnt get se's into the french challeger. i  think he would have taken one if avalible.
