James Ward was 13th alternate and the 5th alternate is no. 1 seed in qualifying, so James can't have got into the main draw and must have decided it wasn't worth playing qualifying.

Some more info on Ed Seator:

He's 19; was born in Auckland, New Zealand. Ed says that when England play New Zealand at rugby, he supports New Zealand.

The countries he's visited include: Australia, Fiji, Indonesia (Bali) Malaysia, Egypt, Tunisia, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Ireland, USA (Vermont/NYC)Greece, Turkey, Portugal, The Azors, Singapore, Andorra, Italy, Spain, Japan, Kuwait, Holland, Sudan, Rwanda, Uganda, Kenya.

Ed says he's happiest when not in Africa. However, if he has to be in Africa, he's happiest when watching prison break. His favourite city is Melbourne, when he was younger he wanted to become a pro cricketer rather than a tennis player.

Some more info on Kalaitzis:

He's half english, half greek. Was born in Crete in a town next to the beach where his parents own a hotel. He lived in Greece until he was 15 then moved to England on his own to join the Sutton tennis academy

An unranked pair w/o them! The reason given is MC Seator, which I can only assume means he got a spot rapping with a DJ in a Maspalomas bar!
