RE: Marray vs Starace - QF Ukraine challenger

That should take him to 159 points and somewhere around 255! Watch your back Josh Goodall!

I think this win takes him to around 250-255 in the rankings!

He'll be able to enter more and more challengers now!

If he can have a grass court season like 2005 but even better he'll be a force to be reckoned with!

fabulous win, a really great show this week from jonny. well done

with regards to top 100, it would be great but i think its not too likely, look at the trouble boggo is having, it seems that you can make 200 easy (well not easy but u know what i mean) enough, then even 150 with a few challenger wins, but top 100 you need to be reaching the later stages week in week out, and u are contimualy up against players like sluiter etc.

Jonnys game needs to improve, or become more rounded, not many S&V players really make it anymore (dent/timmy boy), or if they do they have other advantges or are secure from the back. The grass season is far too short and apart from newport + manch/notts ch, actaully quite diffciult to consistently pick up points in.

i'd really like it, to happen, but so far jonny has shown enough consistency to be considered close to it. A good week defianlty, but like the boggo band wagon post mons we shouldnt egt too carried away.

That is absolutely magnificent, I really wasn't expecting that win.

Tursunov will be a tough nut to crack, but he can be inconsistent, so the very best of luck to Jonny. If his friend, relation or whatever who posed as him on here is around, give him our best wishes!

At this stage you're absolutely right, Jonny will need to do a hell of a lot to prove he can make top 200 before worrying about going any higher, but he has now earnt 108 points since start of september, if he could maintain the last 3 months form for another 6 months he would get there by then.

Anyway that's a huge if, and at thius stage it's simply great to see the progress he has made since he moved to nottingham in late august, lets hope he can keep it up.
