A Bogdanovic/T Bednarek v I Kunitsyn/D Tursunov [Rus][3]
Murray and Kerr have a great chance of making the semis which would take Jamie into the top 70 for the first time I believe, and cement his position as GB no 1.
It's a shame that they've drawn Delgado and Marray in rd1, both teams could have done well in this tournament, I reckon that Delgado and Marray could have knocked out some of the seeds, especially given how well Delgado played last week. For large parts of the Auckland/Delgado - Murray/Kerr semi-final, he was the best player on court. If they lose, Delgado will need to do really well in Shrewsbury next week to make the top 100 by the end of the year.
Don't have much hope that Boggo will et through to the quarters, given that they're facing that pairing !
Murray-Kerr v Delgado/Marray will be on court this afternoon at around 4.30 pm - 5ish. Boggo's match will be tomorrow.
For some reason they've never played with each other before. I guess it's because up until a few months ago, Jamie's main doubles partner was Colin Fleming, [apart from Andy for a few ATPs when Colin wanted to focus on singles]. Jamie's coach Louis Cayer, wanted Jamie and Colin to play doubles with each other for the vast majority of their tournaments.
It would make sense but Jamie seems to have found a new regular partner with Jordan Kerr and James probably feels loyalty towards Delgado. It would be a bit harsh on Delgado if James suddenly left him and started playing doubles with Murray instead. That would leave Delgy on the brink of the top 100, but without a partner and Martin Lee, Goodall, Hutchins, Marray etc are all ranked at least 50 places lower.
Aucks has finished his 2006 season, apart from the Aberdeen Cup. He's decided to head back to GB having spent quite a number of weeks away from home. He says he's hardly seen his wife since they got married
Has the English version of the website dissapeared for anyone else?
Oh well, anyways, answering my own question. Murray/Kerr beat Marray/Delgado 64 64, but I got that from the Russian website so have no idea who they play next, except that they beat the Minar brothers 75 76(5) in the first round.

I asked Boggo why on earth he's playing doubles this week, considering that he hasn't done so since April and has only played 2 doubles matches since September 2005.
He says that he knows Bednarek from other tournaments and the guy asked him to play as he didn't have anyone else.
The result of Jamie Murray's doubles quarter-final isn't available yet but it could have been a tricky match.
Zovko is ranked 89 in doubles and has made 5 challenger finals and the semis of ATP Zagreb, he made the final of this tournament last year.
He's never played with Chiudinelli before though, the Swiss is ranked 189. However, he did make the final of ATP Gstaad doubles earlier this year though.
