Just to let everyone know that the custom box on the control bar on this site is used for google ads. So if you click on custom, 3 google ads will pop-up.
These are pay-per-click ads. Just to clarify, it doesn't cost you anything to click on them, it means that google pays me something like 5p per click.
The reason I'm doing this, is for two reasons:
[a] so that I can upgrade this site which will mean that we don't get the irritating ads at the top of the page above the banner eg: the dating ads and "press the fart button, you know you want to" etc, lol.
[,b] so that I can buy a domain name for this site which will improve the listing on search engines and also make it easier for users to get to the site. I fear that several members have not being able to get back to the site after discovering it as they haven't added the url to their favourites and so have lost it.
cool, will click on the ads a few times a day if i remember!
have always thought that the site does need a decent domain name. the current "activeboard......" isn't overly memorable.
though i must say some of the "horny" girls in the banner ads are quite attractive. 4th from left my fave i think... i do wonder if such banners actually work tho! i for 1 have never clicked on them, and can't imagine many ppl do!

Yeah, it will be great to get a domain name for the site. Please pm me any ideas, I have a couple already myself but any suggestions would be welcome. Please don't post them in this thread though, that happened once before and some git bought the domain just to piss us off.
I agree, there are some hot girls in that banner, it's not up at the moment, but I think 2, 4 and 6 looked pretty nice. I have to admit actually clicking on the ad, just to see Maybe I should buy the domain name but leave the site banner ads up
