RE: Aucks/ Delgado v Cervenak/Lacko

The Brits save a set point on the Slovak's serve: 5-6

Just 1 more to save on their own serve now

6-6

They win 7-6[1], 7-6[7]

Great stuff, Lacko and Cervenak are wildcards but they're a lot, lot better than their doubles rankings suggest - singles is the no 1 priority for them. It was a tricky match and a good one to get through for Aucks and Delgy. Hopefully their quarter-final tomorrow will be on the stream

Well done to the lads and hopefully both will be Direct Entrants in the Aussie Open Doubles draw when January comes round... Let's hope they make it to the semis and face JM and JK... But beating the 3rd seeds J. Coetzee and R. Wassen in the next round will be a very tough task indeed.

Delgado stayed sober enough to help this time then!

Great win, especially after Lacko's run in Glasggow was it, giving him confidence against Brits.

3rd seeds will be really tough.
