Wow, really super-cool website, possibly the best US challenger one.

Shame the Nashville website isn't like that, it's simply dire to be honest.

I think Alves is out for the season, so Richard is at least 4th ALT. Hopefully he'll make the main draw

4 withdrawals is quite a few, so Richard may just miss the cut and be top seed in qualies or something. Jamie should be seeded which is good.

Richard is now 1st Alt with SE spaces still uncleared, so he should be safely in the main draw come tomorrow evening.

Jamie Baker will also be one of the top seeds in qualifying

He badly needs to up his game here and win a couple of rounds in the main draw if he's going to be in AO qualies.

Jamie missed the cut by one place, but is top seed in qualifying, and Chris Harfield gets a surprise WC:

Great draw for Jamie, it may actually be best for him to win several matches in qualifying and get some wins under his belt instead of getting directly into the main draw and going into a rd1 match a bit undercooked.

He really needs to qualify here as he's not playing the Maui challenger at the end of November so he has just two more events till the end of the year. With 8 points still to defend from last November he badly needs a good run.

Brandon Davis is 20 and unranked. He hasn't played a match since July and has lost 11 of his past 13 matches, stretching back to 2004.

Tigran Martirosyan is a likely rd2 opponent and he's ranked 806.

I wonder how Hartfield manages to get all the wildcards, he got one for the Rimouski challenger in Canada a couple of weeks ago aswell.

Jamie's opponent got a wildcard because he's a local player, lives in Illinois.

Baker v Evans is on court at 16.00 GMT. The site says that there'll be score updates every 30min

Great minds think alike

I think he'll be playing his rd2 match later this evening so it's good that he's been able to conserve his energy
