Semjan is ranked 619, his best results this year have been on clay in futures: 2 semis and 8 quarters. However, last week he got double-bagelled by Thiemo De Bakker, so he shouldn't trouble James in theory but so far James is paying for a sloppy start

Really disappointing, seems any momentum built up by Mumbai Quaretrs has been lost, great shame.


Jonny Marray said that there is a big difference in the speed between ciurt 3 which they both played on first and centre. Centre is much slower which presumably didnt suit either of them, happily Jonny seems to be back on 3 tomorrow for a very tough looking match with Reister.


Reister qualified for Basle ATP event as well as last 2 challengers and is obviously in great form, hope that Jonny can come through.

jonny top seed remaining so potentially inline for a LL is someone withdraws.  lets hope thats all academic tho!
