I'd guess that the players ranked lower than the Bratislava cut (around 150) went for Eckental, rather than the Bratislave Qualies: The cut there goes up to 260 (hence Josh getting a direct entry). Eckental and Bratislava can't be more than 300 miles apart - probably as quick as driving from London to Edinburgh.

I think there's a prediction competition going to be happening at http://www.tbopen.tipex.sk/index.php?info=ok&p=sutaz#obsah - I've registered but it remains to be seen whether that's definitely what it is and if the way it works is going to be obvious enough to make it possible to take part effectively without any knowledge of Slovak (I know a fair bit of Polish and the languages are vaguely linked, but that might not be enough) - if not, I'm going to be embarrassingly last throughout!
On the registration form:
Meno = 1st name Priezwisko = surname Mesto = location (city)
If you register, you get an email that confirms your username and gives you a password. Use that to login and either tomorrow or Monday you'll be presented with a list of matches to pick the winner of.
If I've read it right, you get +1 for a correct prediction and -1 for a wrong prediction, so I guess you can tactically fail to predict a match if you think it's too risky to predict!

A couple of great wins for Jonny, good that he was able to get revenge over Zelenay. After set 1, he trounced him. He followed that up with a 6-3, 6-3 win over Mecir.
In tomorrow's final round he plays either Reister or Chramosta. I'd prefer him to play Reister as Chramosta is a tricky opponent, has a weird style of play and he's effective indoors.
Nice comfortable win for James in rd1
He's on court now against Semjan, unfortunately he was broken in the opening game and is serving at 0-2 down.
