Even though giving one to Evans ahead of one to Cox is a bit unfair, I always wanted to see Evans get one.
If nothing else, this will give him a ranking point which he can use for getting seeded at Futures qualies. And he took a set of Auckland on indoors, so he may upset Childs.
I have updated the first post (entry list) with withdrawals etc., but steveg isn't completely up to date and I have a nasty feeling I have missed a withdrawal. . . in other words, that I have one too many players in the tournament. . .If you can spot the error, let me know!

As far as I can see the error is simply that you've made Adaktusson green instead of red, but have labelled him correctly as 'out'.

Only 1 result so far: S Bubka [Ukr][5] bt A Slabinsky [GB] 1-6, 6-3, 6-1
Needless to say, I'm gutted. Great first set for Slabba though against an opponent who beat a top 100 player in straights last week.
F Nielsen [Den][1] v N Lalji [GB]
L Gregorc [Slo][6] v T Rushby [GB]
M Ryderstedt [Swe][3] v E Corrie [GB]
T Kamke [Ger][7] v N Bamford [GB]
E Eleskovic [Swe] v R Searle [GB]
P Marx [Ger][8] v D Cox [GB]
Hopefully there'll be a few upsets otherwise there'll be no Brits in the final qualies round tomorrow. In rd1, 16 year old Maniel Bains did extremely well to give the top seed a close match, maybe Lalji can do the same.
Extremely impressive rd1 result for Ed Corrie. However, I think that Ryderstedt is likely to have too much power indoors with his serve-volley game.
Bamford broke the "foreigner bt Brit" monopoly in rd1 but I can't see him upsetting Kamke who has registered comfortable straight sets wins over Lee Childs and Jim May indoors recently.
I reckon that Rushby, Searle and Cox all have chances of upsets. Eleskovic reached the quarters in Sunderland last week but in rd1, Ross Hutchins had matchpoints against him before losing 8-6 in a 3rd set tiebreak. Hopefully he'll be a bit knackered after his marathon first round win over Chramosta. Marx did well in Britain earlier in the year but his form has tailed off recently.
Grrrrr @ Bamford and May being in the same quarter again as Goodall and Hutchins. Hopefully Bamford and May will start making the step up to doing well in 25Ks next year after all the success they've had in 15Ks in the latter half of this year, they've completely dominated the British circuit like Fleming and Murray did in 2005.
I'm not surprised Auckland isn't in the doubles. I guess he'll be wanting to leave for Scotland on Friday and he's very likely to be involved in the doubles semis on that day and quite possibly the final given his recent form. I guess he reckons that he's unlikely to make the semis or further in singles. Hopefully Delgado can win this tournament and finish the year inside the top 100, is that mathematically possible, or does he have points to defend ?

Well. By my calculations:
With a 14th score of 1 this weeks single point from the Ukraine will make no difference to his points total. So Delgado is on 480 points. Winning in Shewbusy would mean +50, -1 for the 14th score giving a new total of 529.
Currently no 100 is 525 points, 99 535. So, provided that doesn't change tomorrow when the new rankings come out, mathematically Delgado could reach the top 100 but that depends on what the others between him and that magic number do.
I'll check again tomorrow and let you know if that changes.

that second set tiebreaker must have knocked dan's confidence as it is likely he faced a match point possibly 2. never mind, he getting the experience and that all we can ask for another thing since hes not playing here and eddie herr does that mean hes taking 2 weeks off before the orange bowl?
