So now, the big question....if Alex wins the final tomorrow, how should he celebrate. I have several possible suggestions...

[a] He could rip his shirt off and run round the court whirling it over his head, like Tommy Robredo after winning TMS Hamburg

[b,] He could do the full monty like Michael Llodra in South America after winning a challenger

[c] He could attempt to carve a heart shape into the acrylic with his racket, like Kuerten in Roland Garros

[d] An Andy Murray style, finger to the lips salute to John Lloyd and the LTA officials in the crowd.

[e] He could leap into the crowd and give Roger Draper a massive bear-hug, like the Wimbledon winners [bar Federer]

[f]: Drop his shorts [like Safin in Roland Garros] to reveal a "Bates you suck" message

[g] Get completely plastered like Delgado in Aachen this year

What do you think Alex should do ?

I'll place the question to the man himself later this evening, and we'll hopefully find out what he'll do

From what I have seen of Alex (admittedly not much) it is much more likely to be just a shy smile.

I don't think that he will do anything. I saw him play Nadal, he is so cool on the courts. I would like him to do the "finger to the lips" salute.

this is the best, but JL wont be there.

the fact is lungdergun has gone to sherwsbury to see who should be in the team or the next event and the only brit to do well is the one the captin has already alientnated from the team

Bravo Boggo for reaching the final! Hope he can go the distance today (or is it Sunday?).

USM what answer did Alex prefer? Or was he superstitious and not wanting to count chickens?
