someone else had 150 euros on Popp and another guy emailed me last night wanting to know if I was sure about the Popp result. He said he'd put his house on the match.
A man after my own heart

If this is true, then its them who are idiots and need help, not you

I've just realised that Bladetiger, Count and I are in serious trouble

The betting company totomix have shelled out a load of dosh to those betting on a Mackin win, on the basis that Boggo's official site gave the win to Mackin and us three were insisting on MTF that Mackin had won

Quick...we must head for the hills while we still can ! As it happens, B&Q are doing a special offer on portable sheds !!

Oh dear....looks like our intrepid trio are in big trouble.......no matter where you hide the bruisers from totomix will find you......

IN SHEDS NO-ONE CAN HEAR YOU SCREAM !!!!!!

Oh my, this is just too much fun  - it's pretty classy to get shown up by the BBC, the LTA, the ATP and a cranky German on MTF all at once. (even I haven't managed that yet, though I'm sure I will one day)

I'm glad I was cautious on the GRMB, though I have to admit, deep down I did believe all of you were right.

I don't think USM's crackpot theory about why Mike Raphael got it wrong makes any sense, but my own theory would probably get me sued for libel by Mike so I'll keep it to myself.

Very sad that Mackin lost though - I hope Boggo can put things right tomorrow.

Lol Johnny, luckily I have 3 different accounts on MTF. I think that goslabs will retire from public life now for the time being

So that's why you denied that goslabs was you on MTF. And here was me thinking you were just fishing!

I expect he is worried about giving results unless he has a sheet signed by the tournament director, the umpire and both players!

Seriously, as somebody who has been given duff info from a tournament office before, I really do sympathise.

I think its only British tournaments because they are the worst at releasing scores officially anywhere

yeah if they didnt treat it like is was confidential data and apply the offcial secrets act requiring a 12 year waiting period before round 1 match results can be made public domain info.

Just spoken to Bladetiger:

Goodall bt Stakhovsky 6-2, 6-2 Josh played extremely well today

Auckland lost the first set 7-5 to Nielsen. Nielsen was 5-2 up in the 2nd and served for the match at 5-3 but Auckland broke back and made it 5-5. Nielsen has just held to lead 6-5.

Nielsen isn't a particularly big server and has a weak backhand so James should have the advantage in a tiebreak

Bottom half of the draw has opened up with Dick Norman losing to Bubka. Bubka won the 1st set 6-2 and Norman retired, at 3 match points down in the 2nd.

thats an arse of a time to retire, why bother, just let a serve go for an ace or do a df if its your turn. he msut be really injured i think. normans been on the tour for years, cant belive he be such a git.

top win by josh, i wasnt sure he would bt stak to be honest the guys a big server, although he did reach the ukraine dubs final so might have been a bit tired.

come on james.
