Superb start for Jamie and Jordan, they've had chances in virtually every return game. Sounds like both are hitting some pretty flashy winners but it also does sound that they need to work a little on their calling !!
In the first set, Jamie looked the best player by a mile.
His standards slipped in the second and the German pair were on top most of the set, until Jamie and Jordan upped their level in the tiebreak.
I think Kerr's slice and variation was more effective than Jamie's boom in the end.
Jamie's half voley pick ups were reminiscent of Henman at his pomp during the first set ecept in one game! He had to hit a lot but did it well. The Germans made hardly any half voley pickups which was probably the main difference in the match.
Good performance, but not great.
Hopefullt after another practice the boys will gel together even more and go on to reach the final!
That is unless they play Aucks and Delgado as I would prefer 2 Brits in final rather than 1!
