Slabba is defending 20 of his 36 points from GB Sat 4
Good win, very welcome after the year he's had. Needs a big win tomorrow to give him a chance of retaining his WR, would be a great win if he could make it.

Superb win for Slabba, hopefully he can give Guez a good match tomorrow. At least, that means that the worst case scenario for 2006, is that he will finish in the high 700s. How many pts is he defending from GB 4 sat 2005 ?
Your only saying that cos he beat Boggo , what about Recouderc (in fact just read that he's got beat today so forget him ), Lugassy, Scherer, these are all good players, this is a strong field David, I hope Macca wins it, but aint gonna be easy!
Daniel King-Turner (NZ) bt Simon Childs (Gbr) 6-0 6-2 Alan Mackin (Gbr) bt Deniss Pavlovs (Lat) 3-6 6-4 6-2
Superb by Slabba. Dan Cox won the battle of the youngsters. And Gregorc beat Lugassy - hopefully Cox has a chance v Gregorc. Simon Childs obviously found it tough v King-Turner.
Of all tyrannies a tyranny exercised for the good of its victim may be the most oppressive.... those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience

Pretty good set of results for Macca I think. Ryderstedt can be dangerous, but he' got rid of Huta Galung, so that was gtood/ bad either way, but defeats for Recouderc and Lugassy has got rid of two of the strong challengers, Eleskovic can be a danger and King-Turner could be a tough opponent, but draw looks a bit clearer already.
Just dropping a note to say that I saw a link to this forum from the lta site and it is fantastic! It's perfect for catching up on what the british players are up to. I've been tracking a few player via the rankings for a while (Oliver Kalaitzis, Daniel Cox, Richard Bloomfield and a handful of juniors; plus some in the women's game - Natasha Khan [being a Brighton girl], Naomi Cavaday, the Ren girls; I support all of the british players, though) but it's often hard to find out what players are up to outside the ATP and WTA; this place goes into glorious detail.
Welcome to the board, Redcabbage! Shame you've found us in the off- season, but it's a great friendly place nevertheless. Do please post an intro in the introductions thread! (Which reminds me - I've still not posted one there myself yet)
Gregoric beat Cox - don't know score. Not particularly surprising given that Gregoric beat a player like Gary Lugassy in rd1 who's been top 300. Shows how well Rob Searle did against him.
