So not good news in Europe All three of Alex's competitors, Waske, Shuettler and Korolev won, and move further out of Alex's reach.
Unfortunately it's not good news from North America either, so far: Delic woon in Louisville and advances closer behind. Pless wins in Rimouski and joins Korolev off the top of the table.
The table's updated after Alex's loss. His three Aachen competitors have all moved up as has Pless. The only good news is that Vicente went out in Aracaju.
The big threat is now Sam Querrey, who can overtake if he wins in Seoul.
Querrey went out to Lee in Seoul , so there's just Amer Delic who can still overtake - he needs to win the final in Louisville.
Muller also went out in the Seoul semis - to another top 100 player, Bjorn Phau.
Delic and Kendrick both advance to the semis in Louisville . Jen-Hsun Lu makes it onto the bottom of the table in Rimouski, and Boris Pashanski goes up off the top of the table after winning his quarter- final in Aracaju.
Delic plays Kendrick in his semi final today. Time to support Kendrick for a change.
I've updated the table. We have results from Aachen and Rimouski. Louisville semis start at Midnight GMT, and the Aracaju final started half an hour ago, but no live scores.
Schuettler beat Waske, and disappears off the top of that table, joining Korolev who won earlier.
Lu and Pless won in Rimouski and advance.
Pashanski, who's playing Roitman in the Aracju final is pushed back into the top of the table as Schuettler and Korolev climb out.
The important result is still Kendrick vs Delic. We need Delic to lose!
He moves to just 17 points behind Alex. He'll get another 18 if he wins today Worse news, the seed in the other half of the draw lost his semi, so Delic plays Bohli, ranked a lot lower
Bohli's takenthe first set off Delic, but Amer's taken it to a third set..
2-1 Delic.
Delic wins the third, and the match: 3-6, 6-2, 6-3, and so overtakes Boggo, who finishes the week up just one place despite reaching the quarter final.
