Baker, Jamie GBR 287 - makes the main draw through withdrawls....
Jamie has now got into the main draw of Louisville through withdrawals
So he's guaranteed some points this week and he could do with some having lost 24 points in October and he's defending 8[? I believe] from the GB 4 satellite last November.
This challenger is indoors so hopefully that will lead to some better results for Jamie.
Now that's the good news, the bad news.....
US Challengers traditionally have crap websites giving as little information as possible about the tournaments but this one doesn't even have a website. I know the GB challengers don't apart from Surbiton and Manchester but at least Bladetiger is able to more than make up for that and also the LTA now do daily reports.

R1: Jamie Baker WR 308 v (6) Paul Capdeville (CHI) WR 149
Capdeville beat Greg in the FO this year, and perhaps more worryingly for Jamie, he also reached the Final of the Bronx Challenger, beating Benjamin Becker on the way.

Trent Aaron could be another wild card who erm.... bought it. I recognized the name instantly because he once played doubles with Daniel Cox, a great combination at that - a 15 year old and a 37 year old!
This tournament is on indoor hard [which is Jamie's best surface going by results - maybe he's like Alan Mackin - his best surface is indoors but he prefers to play on slower surfaces like outdoor hard].
Match starts at about 6pm GMT, hopefully we can get scores from the tournament organiser.
Capdeville is ranked 149, he reached 102 in the world in April this year. He's made two challenger finals; in Santiago and Bronx and has also competed successfully on the ATP tour. In Los Angeles he beat Clement before losing to Haas in 3 sets and he also won rounds in Indianapolis and Newport and reached the quarters of Memphis. At the French Open he beat Greg Rusedski in 4 sets before losing to Mario Ancic. However, the good news for Jamie is that Capdeville is an out and out clay-court specialist and this tournament is on indoor hard. Capdeville hasn't competed indoors since September 2005.
Hopefully the Chilean will find the change to indoor acrylic a little difficult to adjust to If Jamie plays well I'm hopeful that he can take at least a set of Capdeville.
Playing the doubles qualifying will have been a good way for Jamie to get some match sharpness on the surface, he and Evans won 4-6, 6-4, 10-6 in rd1. They play Dutch pairing Robin Haase and Igor Sjisling for a place in the main draw.
Jamie must stop playing tournaments in America he is not getting anywhere over there. He could have played a nice challenger on his home court too. Gutted.
That's a shame Jamie's win-drought in the USA continues, he's only won 1 singles match over there since mid-August and only 3 matches over there in total since the beginning of July.
Regarding the Capdeville match, at least the first set was pretty close, I'm told that Capdeville broke midway through and continued to hold serve to clinch the set though Jamie pushed him hard. It was always going to be a tough match as although it was indoors, Capdeville is ranked over 150 places higher and while Jamie's only ever made 1 challenger quarter-final so far and is yet to find his feet at this level; Capdeville makes the latter stages of challengers on a regular basis and reached a career high of 102 earlier this year. He's played quite a number of ATPs aswell so there's a large gulf of experience between them.
Next up is Nashville 75K challenger, Jamie will be in qualifying which starts on Saturday.
