RE: Aachen Germany $50K+H w/c 30/10

Korolev and Schuettler both ranked above Boggo are given wild cards...luckily Vik has pulled out!

Great that Alex will be seeded, reaching the quarters here would be a big boost, maybe further if he's drawn in the same section as Sluiter or Norman. Hopefully he avoids JMDP and Korolev.

Will Mackin get a SE for Aachen given that he made the Nottingham semis ?

Two Brits in Aachen qualies:

Lee Childs plays Germany's Tobias Kamke in rd1. Kamke is ranked 448. Last week he lost in rd1 qualies for Basel to Baccanello. He qualified for Kolding and took a set off Lacko in rd1. This year he's won two futures on clay and made two semis.

James Ward has received a wildcard into the qualies !! He plays another wildcard, German Simon Meyer in rd1. Meyer is unranked.

Aachen has a superb website, not only live scores but live streaming aswell

Any news on whether Mackin will get a SE into the main draw ?

Bad news from qualifying:

T Kamke [Ger] bt L Childs [GB] 6-4, 6-2

James Ward plays later this afternoon

The live scoring isn't working for the qualies but if you go to this page, it's updating results pretty much as soon as they come in:

To view the live feed you need to have Quicktime v7...it is a free download...if anyone wants to upgrade to the full pro version PM me.

Oops, well go to the Aachen website and click on Qualifikation on the right hand side.

Is the live streaming working for the qualies Drew ?

If so I'll try it on IE and if that doesn't work I'll pm you about upgrading

It's working if you navigate there from the front page:

Choose "Ergebnisse"  then "Qualifikationen"......

....and you'll find that Lee Childs lost to Tobias Kamke 64 62

James Ward hasn't played yet.
