16&U qualies :

Greenleaf; of Broady, Jones and Cornish, who do you think the best prospect so far ? It is hard to tell at this stage though, lots of possible pitfalls lie ahead. Very promising starts for all three here
Shame neither Llewellyn or Hewitt got through to the main draw. I guess that both will be going for Orange Bowl qualifying ? I wondered why neither had entered Sunderland or Shrewsbury qualifying ? Hopefully both will start to play a lot more senior events next year, that will ensure that they improve a lot faster than playing on the junior circuit.
Is Llewellyn in his final year in the juniors ?
How do you rate the chances of Akhezzan and Dyce in the main draw Greenleaf ? How strong are the U16 and U18 fields. Akhezzan's results haven't been particularly good lately, hopefully he can start to turn that around.

Nick gets more publicity than most players of his age and I think that he can be a decent top 100 player with some effort. Some reporters brand him as the next Andy Murray, but I don't believe in that. Of course, he may mature with time. Here is a good interview with him in case anyone is interested:

Yes, they will play qualies of Orange Bowl.
Llewellyn's Juniors career will get over this year.

When will the U16 and U18 main draws be out ?
Akhazzan's recent results have been a bit depressing. He is still fifteen, so I hope that he will turn things around soon. The 16s field is strong, but nothing compared to the Orange Bowl 16s field. The players are of Akhazzan's standards and not 18s level players. He is now based in Bradenton and will be seeded, so he should make some progress.
It depends a lot on the luck of the draw for Dyce. If he doesn't get one of the big names, he can surely win two rounds or more and get his points total up. This is his home turf, so upsets are possible too.
Dyce got a bad draw. First up will be world junior number 57 Johnny Hamui. If he wins that, he will get top seed and world junior number 5 Nicolas santos. Winning two rounds will be incredibly tough.
16&U main draw:
"Horror" is the word that first came to my mind when I saw Akhazzan's draw. Akhazzan is the eleventh seed, but he drew Rafael Camilo of all people! Camilo isn't seeded just because he skipped Juniors and started on men's tennis directly. He recently reached the finals of a Futures on clay. Akhazzan on the other hand, struggles in Futures qualies Our only hope is that Camilo can't play on hard courts.
14&U main draw:
Joseph Cohen plays Kamil Khalil of Libya. Nick Jones plays wild card Carter Wheatley of the US. Jack Carpenter hasn't been placed.
Gossea/Cornish lost in round one. Edwards/Samardzic are through to the third round. Hill/Barra are through to the third round. Broady/Nguyen are through to the third round.
12&U second round results:
Tom Hill lost to "strong seeded" Ilya Ivashka of Belarus 60 63. Farris Gossea lost to "strong seeded" Joseph Di Giulio of the US 75 61. Jonathan Cornish lost to "strong seeded" Maxx Lipman of the US in three sets. Liam Broady defeated Jimmy Bendeck of the US 60 61.
Qualifier Jack Carpenter defeated Serbian Nebojsa Peric by 1 and 2. Joseph Cohen got double bagelled by Kamil Khalil of Libya. Nick Jones defeated Carter Wheatley of the US - 61 60.
Nick Jones didn't turn up. They got the Joseph Cohen result the other way round. He double bagelled his opponent instead of getting double bagelled. The Jack Carpenter result was correct.
14&U Second Round :
Joseph Cohen lost 76 64 to the tenth seed, Emmett Egger of the US. Qualifier Jack Carpenter defeated the seventh seed, Junior Ore of the US in three sets.
Carpenter's next opponent is worth a special mention. Argentinian prodigy Andrea Collarini is widely regarded as the best ten year old in the game. That boy is winning competitions after defeating people four years older than him!!
16&U First Round :
Akhazzan lost 1 and 3. We shouldn't blame him. His opponent was too good.
Wild card Michael Davis defeated Shoei Kondo of Japan at 62 61.
14&U Doubles:
Joseph Cohen and Dominik Schulz of Germany are the seventh seeds. Max Peara teams up with James Kong of Hong Kong. Sabian Latore teams up with Kamil Khalil of Libya.
16&U Doubles:
Alastair Barnes teams up with German Sanchez of Mexico. Faris Akhazzan and Eric Hannah of the US are the seventh seeds.
This has to be his best performance ever! Velasco is ranked 85 places higher than him - 25.
His second round opponent will be Radu Albot of Moldova, ranked 105 in the world. I am pretty confident that Dyce will take that one. He has home advantage and Albot is a clay specialist by the look of his results.
Actually Dyce now has a good chance of making it to the quarters. He defeated the other seed in his eighth, Ricardo Urzua, in Kentucky. So he can do it again.
I think that Dyce should be looking towards getting his ranking up to at least 80 before the year is over. It will be tough, but he can do it.
18&U Doubles:
Dyce teams up with best friend Bradley Cox. They face top seeds Pavel Chekov and Petru-Alexandru Luncanu in round one.
