The above is a list of threats left now Boggo is out. So tomorrow all pins into Bolleli, Economindis, Kunitsyn, Moodie and Novak.
As they can overtake by winning their next matches.
Hopefully Boggo can regroup, find his confidence and come back in style next week. The good thing about being at this point in the rankings is that everyone is so close together so a good run can move you up lots of places. For example, I've been watching Vicente who seems to have been on a flat level playing-wise for these last few months and he is always around the top 100, but it varies dramatically from week to week as to specifics, the range is between about 80 and 120. I think we need to get used to Boggo being the same, unless he can bypass that and reach the realtively stable area around 75 in the rankings.

The overnight results are in and the table's updated. Schuettler, Roitman and Navarro- Pastor go out (in fact it's all opened up ahead of Alex, typical as he can't take advantage) Hartfield and Mello advance.
That's it for the European results today except for Moodie vs Davydenko. The table's updated.
Llodra, Econimidis and Carlsen advance
Dlouhy, Kubot, Bolelli and Lu are knocked out (that's better!)
Berlocq plays in Montevideo tonight.
Tomorrow, Kunitsyn plays Tommy Haas, Pavel plays the winner of the Mirnyi match in St P's tomorrow. Novak will be playing David Ferrer in Basl, Llodra plays Clement in Lyon.
I've updated the table for today's Nottingham action, and most of the play in continental Europe.
Kunitsyn is the next player to overtake Alex , knocking him down to 121st by beating Haas.
Pless, Waske and Carlsen all also advance.
Economidis and Novak were knocked out
Pavel and Llodra have yet to play.
Not much play in Montevideo last night, so no- one advances.
A maximum of two more can overtake Boggo, both from Montevideo: Berlocq or Saretta would need to make the final, and Mello would need to win the tournament. Lapentti and Vicente are the two seeded players who could prevent that if they won the tournament instead.
I've updated for yesterday evening & the overnight scores:
Pavel, Llodra, Hartfield and Vicente have all been knocked out ahead of Boggo. If only he was still in the tournament he'd be on the road to advance past all of them.
Behind, Berlocq and Saretta both advance to the quarters. They need to go out before the final!.
Edit: Mello went out, meaning only Berlocq or Saretta can overtake in Montevideo.
It's not even 3 O'clock, and already play is over for all of Alex's European competitors:
Waske beat Mackin in Nottingham , while Pless had a walk over against Carlsen, and disappears off the top of the table.
In Lyon, Moodie went out to Johanssen who's now way off the top of the table and into the top 80. Edit:Kunitsyn also advances into the top 90 after beating Starace in St P.
Meanwhile in St Petersburg, a young Latvian called Ernest Gulbis advanced to the semi- finals. He's gone from 204th to 155th already. If he wins again, he'll come onto the bottom of the table. If he wins the tournament, he'll overtake Alex.
Mixed news from Montevideo:Lapentti did the business by knocking Berlocq out of the tournament. Unfortunately, we'll also have to rely on him to knock out Saretta tomorrow, as he's through to the semis, and now just 7 points and so one win behind Alex.

Gulbis was seen off by Mario Ancic. So there's just Saretta to worry about now.....Can Lapentti keep up the good work?
