Blade should be in Nottingham from about 11.30, so I'll be putting score updates on the Mackin semi on MTF.

Great news

Not so great news: :(

Nothing for awhile, then all of a sudden, 4 messages in a row, think something must be wrong at my mobile provider.

First says:

Mackin-Waske 3-2*

Then:

Mackin-Waske 3-4*

Then:

Mackin-Waske 4-6 - Alan had chances to win points in Waske's last service game but went down to 15.

Mackin-Waske 4-6 0-1* - thought he'd served a 2nd serve ace (on bp, I assume) but it was called out.

I'll keep posting on MTF and leave you to it from now on.

(From Steven on MTF:)

SF: (4) Alexander Waske (GER) WR 117 beat Alan Mackin (GBR) WR 301 by 6-4 6-4

Alan saved a MP at *3-5 but Waske served it out in the following game.

Apparently it was Alan's first Challenger semi for 2.5 years, and equals his best resutlt ever. So not a bad week.

More bad news today though, from the doubles Final:

Prpic/Tourte beat (1) Delgado/Murray 6-4 4-6 10:7 :(

Quite a shock, and not what Del needed with points for winning last year's Aachen Challenger coming off next week.
