Mackin has been the better so far, I agree though Waske played the big points better in the 2nd set. I pick him in this 3rd set, I think he'll tough it out.

That happens so often in ATP matches, particularly after a player has won a very close 1st set, often they lose concentration in their opening service game of the next set and the momentum completely switches
