I think it would be useful to have the ones still in tournaments in bold.
Rob, do you not use Firefox? You can get colour on that - see my entry list postings.
I use IE6, and although I can get colour,
when I try to use it at the same time as the "pre" font, which allows the table to stay in its columns, it won't let me use colour as well if I try to nest it.
OK, the table's updated for Tuesday in the Americas: Kendrick overtakes Boggo again Philippoussis also advances. No- one on the table went out yesterday .
I've made the change to the formatting on this thread. Let me know what you think.
Carlsen, Vicente and Llodra will finally get their R1 matches today. Boggo, Kubot and Kendrick play their R2s.
If Boggo wins today, he overtakes Kendrick again, along with Novak, Economides, Waske & Kubot. Kendrick & Kubot can leapfrog straight back past him if they win today, though. Best case up to 113, worst case up to 115, with Waske playing tomorrow. If he loses, Carlsen needs to win 2 games to pass him.
Does anyone know what date is the Aus Open cut off point datewise, and also at what ranking is expected to be needed for Boggo to be a DA. And finally how many points is he defending between now and then, might be interesting to view it in those terms rather than just on a week by week basis.
as far as i am aware he has 77 points to defend incluidng the 12 this week and excluding any he has won so far this week. i think the cut off date is normally 6 weeks b4 the start of the event but dont know when that is.
his next lot are the two challenger wins totaling 110 but they are both after the AO.

If Alex gets his ranking at around 110 at the end of the season, that should be enough for a direct entry as the cut usually extends down to about 115 because there are always so many withdrawals.
Alex's aim is to crack the top 100 by the end of the season
Table updated for Alex's result: Back to 114th. His 12 points defended, and another 2 added. Bring on Sluiter!
Bladetiger, I'm not sure I'd be able to do a table for the next 6 weeks at once - working out all the points that all the players need to defend would be a herculean task.
That said, maybe one of my co- number crunchers could rise to the challenge??
Full update once the Llodra result is in (He's a set & a break up).
Alex can be overtaken tonight if Kendrick wins in Calabasas.
If he goes out next round, Waske and Carlsen can both overtake if they reach the semis. Philippoussis can overtake if he reaches the Calabasas final, Llodra if he reaches the Kolding final, Delic if he wins in Calabasas, and Hartfield or Mello if they win in Bogota. So worst case he can still drop back to 120th.
If he beats Sluiter, he'll be at 109. But Vicente (Q, Bogota), Pless (R2, Kolding), Kubot (S, Kolding), Waske(F, Kolding), Kendrick (F, Calabasas), Carlsen(F, Kolding), Philippoussis (W, Calabasas), Llodra (W, Kolding), Hartfield (W, Bogota) can threaten. A max of six can overtake: worst case 115th.
Michael wrote: How many more points does he need to break the top 100?
100 is currently 416 points, so he needs more than 47 points, however that will almost certainly change by the end of the week.
IF Alex won this challenger and everyone currently between him and the top 100 went out in their next match he would be at 101. (he would have 415 points). But that is highly unlikely.

The overnight results are up on the table. Kendrick's done his leapfrog act again, and Alex is down to 115th They're on the same points, but Kendrick's success at Wimbledon & the USO mean he's ahead.
Amazingly, no- one on the table has gone out of a competition since Monday. It's very crowded. Let's see who blinks first.
Waske, Carlsen, Llodra and Pless play in Kolding today.
Philippoussis & Delic play in Calabasas.
Vicente, Hartfield, Guccione & Mello play in Bogota.
We need as many as possible to lose (except Guccione, who plays Vicente)
No- one can overtake today, Carlsen & Waske can overtake tomorrow.
