Is LCF solicitors [the company on Richard's T-shirt] the company which Adam Lownsbrough's dad runs ?

GB futures are the only ones which don't give out trophies to the finalists

It is indeed - see http://www.lcfsportslaw.co.uk/ - I wonder if that explains why Bloomers once infamously played doubles with Adam.

That could be part of the reason.

Bladetiger said that Adam had helped Richard out on a number of occasions, by being a hitting partner for warm-up sessions just before Richard's matches in tournaments. If
they played doubles together in the challenger, it meant that Adam broke even for the week and so Richard agreed to return the favours Adam had done him. Lots of the other players, were incredulous at this and everyone was apparently taking the mick out of Richard's coach for allowing it They lost 6-4, 6-1 in rd1.
