Plays Daniel Yoo in first round who hasn't won a match at challenger level all year, mainly playing at future level. Yoo is ranked 497, over 200 places below Baker. Should be a win for Baker really. Any idea if this match has already been played?

How come Baker doesn't get into the main draw. Last direct acceptance is 299 and Baker is ranked 287.

QR1: (q1) Jamie Baker WR 287 lost to Daniel Yoo (KOR) WR 497 by 7-6(1) 4-6 6-3
Jamie's North American tour goes from bad to worse as he loses to a player ranked over 200 places below him whom he beat last week.
To make matters worse, the higher-ranked of his possible QR2 opponents and the other seed in his section both retired from their matches, so he would have had the easiest possible route into the main draw had he won.

That's a really disappointing result, Jamie beat Yoo 7-6, 7-6 last week in Sacramento. He really seems to struggle in these American challengers. Given that Jenkins and Witten both retired in rd1, it was an excellent opportunity for Jamie to make the main draw here.
Jamie's now heading back to Nottingham, I believe that he'll get a wc into the challenger. He's now outside the top 300 as his pts from Edinburgh, Bolton and Jersey will have come off.
After that it's back to the States for a series of indoor challengers.
