Boggo's in the main draw which will be released this afternoon.

Qualifying:

Rd1: J Marray v C Konigsfeldt [Den][WC]

L Childs v D Sessagessivil [Sui]

A Mackin [8] v J Szygowski [Ger]


Jonny has an easy first round match, his opponent is unranked. He's likely to face top seed George Bastl in rd2.

Lee's opponent also appears to be unranked. He could face Mackin in rd2.

Mackin's opponent is ranked 1374, he only has 2 ranking pts, his best result was qualifying for a futures on clay and then making the quarters. Alan's likely to face 2nd seed Tobias Clemens if he gets to the final qualies round

He's actually called Sessagesimi and has one ranking point. Almost none, in other words.

That's what I thought too, but now I'm not so sure. The score in Lee's match has been stuck on 5-4* for ages, with the game score showing as Ad to Lee / 15 to Sessagesimi.

Now Lee's match has disappeared and the 5th match due on that court has come up, while on Center they're still on match 3. I wonder what happened - maybe a retirement, hopefully not Lee!

The main draw has just come out:


R1: (5) Alex Bogdanovic WR 119 v Marc Lopez (ESP) WR 213


A good draw for Alex against the last DA. The winner will face Zib/Vico then a possible QF against no. 1 seed Sluiter, whom Alex beat in Mons last week, of course. Martin Lee doesn't seem to have made the main draw here after all and hasn't bothered with qualifying.

I call it a pretty tough draw, I'm sure he'll coast thru Rd 1, but then winner of Zib/ Vico is tough with No'1 seed to follow!
