Gicquel's serving so well at the moment- 74% is hugely impressive. He's winning 81% of the points on 1st serve but good to see that Jonny is really punishing the Gicquel 2nd serve, the Frenchman has just won 36% of the pts on that so far.

If Jonny can keep holding, later in the set, the pressure might tell on Gicquel and he might miss a few first serves at crucial moments.

Jonny has won 6/7 points on his second serve this set. A massive improvement, however he has only had one chance at the Gicquel second serve, which he took, but Gicquel has served 7/8 first serves and one every one of those first serves.

Maybe Jonny's placing his 2nd serves better in this set, now he's got more of a feel for where Gicquel's strengths are on the return. That's so key for a serve-volleyer.

*4-4 Most worrying this is that Gicquel is by far most likely winner of the tiebreak the way he is serving. Poisitve thing is Jonny can make Gicquel serve to stay in set twice before then. Some real pressure for the Frenchman then. This is where that hold at end of 1st set is an advantage for Marray, causing him to serve first in this set.
