The Final of the challnger in Mons. Play to start at 2 oclock BST so in just over 5 minutes. I think if Boggo can make a bright start Tipsarevic will get fustrated and fluster but it will be a big match and one that Boggo needs to win if he wants to be in the top 100 come the end of the year as he is not playing next week.
My prediction is Alex to win in 3 sets, he really deserves this title and it would mean that he breaks into the top 110. Tipsarevic has been on fire in Mons, beating Rochus and Korolev but he blows hot and cold and on his day, Alex can beat anyone indoors who's ranked outside the top 50.
Alex will need to serve well and try to control the rallies, Tipsarevic will be looking to hit big winners off both sides. Maybe Alex should try to work the angles and also bring him into the net, I can't remember from the Rusedski match, whether Tippy is a particularly good volleyer.
Tipsarevic's closest match this week was against Lisnard in rd1 when he was taken to 3 sets but breezed through the 3rd 6-1.
The highlights of his year have been: Winning two challengers in Uzbekistan in August, taking a set off Roddick at Wimbledon, qualifying and reaching the quarters of ATP Nottingham beating 4 Brits along the way and also beating Murray at Queens. In the first half of the year, he reached a challenger final in Dresden and won Belgrade aswell as reaching the semis of Heilbronn. He also qualified for the Aussie Open and reached rd2, beating Seppi in 5 sets before losing to Ferrero in another 5 setter.
Alex holds for 2-3, hopefully he can get another half-chance on the Tipsarevic serve now, he missed a big opportunity in the previous game when he had 0-30 and a second serve to attack
