James will now be one of the top seeds for qualifying for futures in Spain, Italy and Portgual which will make things a lot easier for him, he may also get in directly to some futures.

He's got very few pts to defend for the first 7 months of 2007 so a great chance for him to really move up. He's definately earned his points the hard way, grinding things out on Spanish clay, he's likely to be much more technically solid than his compatriots who have similar rankings but have earned their points in Britain or Africa.
