So Alex is now up to a career high of 119 in the rankings, a few more points and he'll make the Aussie Open main draw by right. The cut last year, extended down to Alex Waske at 116.

Also, this will mean that Alex could be seeded for some of the big challengers in November like Aachen and Bratislava

Superb win from alex! Chiu will be kicking himself for not winning in straights but all credit for alex not giving up- don't think alex last yr would have won this! Great week, would have been disappointing to go out to someone lower ranked after beating higher ranked players in first 2 rounds. Is this tournie the real breakthrough?! I hope so!

Wonderful stuff

It's funny, we thought Henman (after beating Andy) v Boggo was big in Bangkok last week ... little did we know the heights they were both going to reach this week!

Who do we want for the Bogster in the Final? Korolev or Tipsy?

Wel don Boggo...who will he face ?

Just to round up this part of a bizarre afternoon...What have i been doing during boggos win ?

With my 7yr old girl...

A-help her tidy her room ?
B-help her paint a ceramic fairy ?
C-shopping for a new toy ?

Mmmm...A, B or C

Tipsy for me. Korolev is a very tough looking youngster, similar to JMDP.

Although maybe the pressure of a final could get to him...

My answer, none of those options, you've been on the bottle and imagined doing all three

Lol ! My guess is C as you've been using your mobile to access the scores and if you'd be in the house you would have been popping down to the computer
