RE: Alex v. Chiudinelli

One set all, hmmm....   I don't think Alex has a great record in three setters, either he is in less good shape physically, or he hasn't got the concentration.  Anyway, its been such a strange match so far, I dont think anyone can predict the outcome.

If Al does get his stuff together and win this match, will the 63 rankings points he wins be his best ever points haul?

Yeah, his previous best haul has been the 50 pts from winning a 50K

Chance now for Boggo to break:

30-30

That was the "old Boggo" but the 2006 version is a "new man," possessing the ability to come back to win from breaks down in the final set and even win a few matches on US hard courts and clay. The only characteristic yet to evolve from the old "species" is the Davis Cup fallibility.

He's won plenty of 3 setters this year, in Wrexham, Bergamo, in the States and also he's just won 2 in a row here and he beat Wang in 3 in Bangkok

It seems to be 60 to me for Bergamo challenger according to his ranking breakdown on ATPTennis.com

Just a little bit premature there, Drew, Chiu has held to 30 for 1-1.

Boggo now serving, 40-15 up

Holds and he leads 2-1

He got 60 points for winning Bergamo, but the answer's still yes.

Bergamo must have been a 50K+H not just a 50K then ?
