Seems from the scoreboard the German may have let him down, they seemed to struggle more when he was serving. Tough for James to find himself a regular partner who's up to his standards.

So Jamie's week is over early. Am I right that James doesn't get any ranking points whatsoever from the singles? That's a shame after hoisting himself up the rankings few weeks ago. Did anyone else read the interview on the LTA website where he said that he's not really interested in Futures and challenger events anymore and he'd rather go and attempt to qualify for an ATP event and play the doubles there rather than play a challenger because it's more beneficial for his game to be around good players.

Is Jamie Murray playing this week? And if not, has James done enough to regain the doubles number 1 spot?
