thats a superb result by jonny! guaranteed 15 ranking points and a big pay cheque


can't underestimate how well he's done qualifying here - was a pretty strong field and came through with flying colours! hope he can take this form into the first round proper!

After the way he folded in second set that was a great perfomance.


Jonny really held his nerve when facing break points and really pressured Pless when he had a chance to break himself.


A classic situation of playing the bigger points better!


Who are the options in Main Draw?

Of the 4 possibilites in the main draw I hope he avoids Nieminen and Bjorkman....and gets one of the WC !!!!

options are Marc Giquel, Jonas Bjokman, Jarkko Niemenen or Andreas Vinciguerra.


Lets hope for Vinciguerra or Gicquel.


What a great job qualifying though! Beating Luczak and Pless is a great achievement for Jonny
