I was watching the Boggo-Henman match earlier today. Some of Barry Cowan's comments in the first 2 sets were so inane, the contempt with which Petchey treated them was so funny, there was this kind of awkward silence in the commentary box. In the 1st set, Petchey was really laying into Boggo though, it was quite unfair, he lightend it up once Alex started dominating in the 2nd set, in the 1st set of that match the Henman forehand was just awesome.
Apparently Peter Fleming used to be Alex's coach. He said that he feels that Alex is one of the most talented players in the world to have emerged in the past decade. He thinks that Alex has been unfairly treated by the LTA which is why it's taken him a little while to realise his potential. He also feels that the LTA and the press haven't recognised that different players progress at different rates, Henman didn't break through until he was Alex's age.
