The Killers

just wondering how many people here listen to the band and what their thoughts are on the new album, i know its only just out but my inital feelings are that it isnt quite up to the same lvl as hot fuss, which imo had 5 1/2 outstanding tracks (Jenny, Brightside, Somebody, All These, Midnight, 1/2 is for the last track, great but very different).

so far the album is ok, the single, which is track 3, is very good, but i dotn feelthe album has the same highs as the debut, it may grow on me and its not a bad album but will have to see if it becomes a 'great'

I loved their first album too.  "All These Things That I've Done" is my favourite song. Fabulous track.  'I've got soul, but I'm not a soldier'.

I was thinking of buying the new album - might wait a while now.  I had my doubts after hearing the first single, it's quite good, but it's not a killer. (pardon the pun).

I love the new Scissor Sisters album.  It's fantastically eclectic - disco, bluegrass, rock guitars, OTT ballads, and a bonus track that sounds like Nine Inch Nails' industrial electronica.

really, i might have to go and buy the sisters album then, i love nin. i got the st album but i dont really listen to it anymore which is why i didnt rush out an buy it

the killers album has grown on me slighty overnight but its still different.

the new single (when you were young) has really grown on me, i 1st heard it quite a while ago on johnaton ross show and wasnt too impressed, but i have to say i really like it now, if you not sure how it goes its got the bit a bout jesus in it which kinda lyricaly stands out (and doesnt make sense). it might not be as good as somebofy told me (another side question can any one clatify the lyric that sounds like : 'i never thought i'd share a room with you in the moonlight' bit, i can never work it out) and the soul/solider song

Count Zero - that line from somebody told me is - "Never thought I'd let a rumour ruin my moonlight". though your version is pretty good too
