This is tough this month.........through a bizarre method I have got my top 2 down to James Auckland and Jamie Murray....

James...what a week...ATP singles and doubles wins !!!!

Jamie...rising consistantly in the doubles rankings....semis / wins / ATP final !!!

really not sure.........going to go for Jamie as he has been doing well for the whole month...but not to be-little Aucklands wins !

I've gone for Jamie Murray because his results have been consitently good over the whole month but it was really hard to choose between Boggo/him/Aucks and Marray.

Because it is so tough to pick that is only good news for Briritsh Tennis and lets hope we have another tough choice in the next few months.

Hmm as most here I'm torn between Aucks and JM. Usually I'd choose JM since he's Scottish and all. But I'm going to go for Aucks for doing quite well and getting to his 1st ever ATP Tour Quarter Final and doing well in doubles over the past few weeks aswell.

I've gone for Auckland as well. Looks like i'm in good company. Finallty seeing all his hard work paid off. I expect it's due to getting married

As Madeline would say: Behind every successful man......

In his interview with the LTA he said that having his wife's support was a really big boost for him

I'm going for Jonny Marray, for reaching the semi-finals of the Orleans Challenger event, not only in singles but also doubles. as well as the fact he very nearly made the final in the singles, losing 4-6, 7-6(2), 7-6(5) to Olivier Rochus.

Poll closed, James Auckland is now officially our player of the month

I think it's very likely that the LTA picked Auckland as their player of the month after seeing the results of our poll ! This site is one of their main news resources for the British players which is really great !
