RE: Davis Cup: GB v Holland

I didn't realise there was a non-digital way to receive BBC 3 & 4. I thought they were digital only.

I've tried e-mailing the BBC about the channel numbers as well, but not yet heard anything. I too have unintentionally recorded several hours of blank screen instead og tennis - very frustrating!

Looking at the BBC digital feedback message board, lots of people appear to have asked the Beeb about recording BBCi previously. I don't understand why they can't include channel numbers in the web page on BBCi sports coverage.

sorry, it may be digital, but i dont have interactive on my tv, athought i will have to play aroud maybe as my tv has a bbc interactive channel? but i have hiomechoice which i think is a fairly unique style of service as its down the phone line.

matchs order confirmed

1: Andy v Suliter
2: Tim v Hasse

so hasse counts as duicth number 1 which maybe be a blessing for us?

if andy is guninly fit we must got into day 2 with a 2-0 lead. anything other and JL should be sacked (so heres hoping for 1-1 in a strange way )

Excellent news! Provided he stays fit we SHOULD win fairly easily. But then this is GB...

Anyway can't wait until tomorrow now!

I've had a response from the BBC about BBCi and the channels it broadcasts on:

"The BBCi service complements BBC One and BBC TWO programming output; it is not designated as a separate channel and the schedules are subject to change. Therefore the BBC does not supply separate listings for BBCi.There is a sports guide on the BBC Sport website that lists the upcoming interactive sports coverage on BBCi and bbc.co.uk"So not at all helpfull. It looks as if the only thing to do if you want to record BBCi is to guess which channel it's on. As it is the only major sports event mentioned on the BBC at that time of day on Friday, I'm assuming it will be on 301. Won't know if I'm right until I get home.
