Anne lost 6-3, 6-2 in rd1 to a Belarus player called Ekaterina Dzehalevich who's ranked 332.
That's a pretty poor result, I fear she's in danger of coming out of this Asian tour with no wins and she's got lots of points to defend this month. She's had two pretty good draws for WTAs, Poutchek and the lucky loser and she hasn't taken advantage of either.
I'm not sure where she's heading next week, she's entered for the qualifying for WTA Bangkok, a tier III next week and she's also entered as the top seed in Jersey. It looks like she's going to play Jersey, which is a 25K so hopefully she can build up some form again there, she should reach at least the semis.
