Greenleaf can hopefully let us know...maybe the livescores will only kick-in after the centre court commences....ignore that they should be on court by now also ?

Well done James!

And the stupid scoreboard still isn't working!

Other scoreboards are working - the one I like is here -it doesn't give point-by-point, though.

Brilliant James.

Who's helping James in Mumbai?  - Good work whoever it is.

Off topic but :

Perhaps Mr Lloyd was correct in not picking him for Davis Cup - has this motivated him to do well here? I just wish there was some kind of transparent policy for who else can benefit from the vast sums of money spent on helping Andy and the Davis Cup squad (ie Brad and Peter). Do GB want a specialist doubles pair or do you have to play singles to get more funding and into the squad? Perhaps this is why James is playing singles again. I hope the players know - I just wish we knew.

Still Davis Cup shouldn't be an issue now until April (assuming we get seeded and don't have to play in Feb) or will there be regular training camps anyway.

Well done James!  I think that's the first time he made the 2nd round of an ATP event.

James is playing doubles with a fresh-from-the-Ukraine, Jamie Delgado.

They are the 4th seeds (which good thing to be saying).

1st Round.
AUCKLAND, James GBR / DELGADO, Jamie GBR vs GALVANI, Stefano (ITA) / SANGUINETTI, Davide ITA

That adds 20 pts (5 for qualies, and 15 for getting to the 2nd rnd) to James 74 pts at present....dont think he is def any pts from this time last year...he failed this time last year to Qualify for the grenoble challenger. That should put him well within the top 400.

He is defending 4 points from F14 in france as the futures points come off (and go on) a week after they are played. However, that should still put him deep into the top 400.
