IMO they should really beat the Indians but they did of course put out the top seeds in the 1st round and haven't lost a set. But I'm sure enough Auckland/Delgado will get through it

doesn't l0ok like their playing today (friday) in the doubles, but James first up in the singles on court 1 vs tursunov at 6pm in mumbai which is 1:30 here i think!
jamie d must be loving the fact that he turns up, prob gets nice hospitality, and plays 1 match in a week!
tough sf's - should never underestimate "home" opponents but jamie/james would be slight favourites i think
It won't be that easy. Rohan Bopanna is a very good doubles player. He partnered Prakash Amritraj and they reached the finals of ATP Chennai earlier this year, defeating quality teams on their way.
Since then, he has reached three Challenger finals, winning on one occasion.
Didn't say it would be easy, I just said Auckland/Delgado should be really looking to win this match. I'm certainly not overlooking the Indians at all. As since Bopanna is in or just outside the top 150 in the doubles rankings.

Lol, yeah I expect both Delgy and Auckland are loving it, it must be a world apart from what they're used to, they get free physio and massage treatment in ATPs !!

they're last (4th match) on centre court, with play starting at 5pm local time, or 12.30pm UK time. At a guess, they'l lbe on about 5pm our time then!
3rd match on, according to the OOP, Ancic is taking on Paes and Quereshi single-handedly! Which may prove a little tough!
That's good, it should mean that Greenleaf gets to watch it and so can hopefully do some commentary
Lol @ the Ancic match I think he'll struggle in that one !
Bopanna is ranked 156 in doubles [peaked at 141 in July]. Aswell as reaching that final as a wildcard in ATP Chennai in Jan, he's also reached 3 challenger finals and a semi.
Ghouse plays mainly in futures and sats because his singles ranking has dropped so low. He's ranked 338 in doubles [peaked at 176 in April 2005]. This year he's reached 2 futures finals and 3 satellite finals.
Bopanna is a massive server, like Auckland. Don't know anything about Ghouse's game. He and Ghouse had a superb win in rd1 over Kunitsyn and De Voest. Incidentally this is the first time he and Ghouse have played together since 2005, but the delay has obviously not harmed their partnership !
If Auckland and Delgado hit their best form, I reckon that they have a good chance of winning.

Akhenaten, here's your next challenge. When was the last time we had 4 Brits in the singles main draws of ATPs plus 2 British pairs in ATP doubles main draws all in the same week [British tournaments don't count].
Sorry, can't do. I've got database of mens singles results, so it's easy for me to query it for singles stats, but I've not got doubles results.
