PatatRiek, now that the Norman match has finished, will you be able to stay on court 1 and provide point by point updates on the Sluiter - Bogdanovic match.
That would be great
Thanks
NO I CANNOT STAY ON THAT COURT ... I NEED INTERNET "
What a win over a player ranked 88 who's been in the top 50 in the past !!! Superb stuff Alex ! It shows how much he's improved since they last played in 2004.
Next up, it's likely to be 2nd seed Kristof Vliegen. I'm not sure when that match will be though Bizarrely 7/8 rd2 matches seem to be being played today, Vliegen v Wauters isn't on the schedule. Surely they're not just going to have one rd2 match tomorrow and then all the quarters on Friday.
...and he's back to WR 134 - his highest, and if llodra loses he'll be 133!! - new highest ranking.
And Llodra's lost the 1st set against Tipsarevic so it looks very much like Boggo is heading for a new career best ranking.
Could he go even higher than that if Moodie loses to Federer ?
Nope. This puts him on level points with Moodie(325), but because Moodie's got a lot more points from Grand Slams & Masters series than Alex has (he has just 5 from his Wimbledon wild card), he'll be ahead.
this is probably one of his best wins this year, after the boom at the start, he then got 'bogged' down in the grass events, and whilst the newport qf was impressive it was more a case of him taking the oppourtunity presented as bastl is not the same player he used to be. fighting back from a set down again is also great work and shows that regardles off what the lta might say he is a fighter in matches and doesnt throw in the towel.

Hmm - I think that's just a presentational issue on the Belgiantennis.org site. The OOP just has four second round matches today: Norman, Boggo, Lopez and then the Olly Rochus match later.
