That's a fantastic win for Alex, I thought that he'd come through but I didn't expect it to be so easy ! He's really in great form at the moment, PatatRiek said that Alex was outplaying Falla in the rallies which he saw.
Some guys from various message boards have gone to Mons today, so hopefully we can get some more info.
Also, it's great that Alex has now overtaken Greg, I wonder if he realises yet. That'll be a confidence booster.
Will 9 pts be enough to get him back into the top 140 ?

Unfortunately not. Check out the Boggo competitors thread. He's up to 142 now, but Moodie can obvertake him tomorrow morning if he wins in Tokyo. 21 points for a QF though.......
The Bogdanovic v Sluiter match could be tomorrow as Sluiter played on Monday, beating Simone Bolleli [who Alex beat in the Bergamo challenger final], 6-2, 7-6[3]. The Wednesday OOP hasn't been made yet.
They've played once before, in ATP Lyon qualies in 2004, on indoor carpet, Sluiter won 6-2, 6-3 that day. Sluiter is one of the few players who are double-handed off both sides. I watched a match he played against Hewitt a few years back, I remember that he hit some pretty big winners but was inconsistent and struggled once Hewitt got him on the run. Has a big serve too.
Sluiter has had a mixed year, the highlights have been reaching the semis of the Andrezieux challenger in January and reaching the 3rd round of the French Open. beating Jarkko Nieminen and Nicolas Lapentti before losing in 5 sets. He's won matches in several ATPs but apart from the French Open he hasn't been past rd2 and from January till May he lost 10 successive matches.
