Tara isn't playing in Phillipines the week after Malaysia. So she is flying all the way from the US for just one week of tennis!!
Her rank has now dropped to 163 after some points cam off this week. 22.5 more points come off next week, so she'll need to win a few rounds and do well in doubles in Malaysia.
Tara's ranking has dropped to 199 because of all the points she was defending from the G3 and G4 in Sweden. She has effectively no chance of being seeded at the Spring Championships.
On the positive side - she doesn't defend anything till August.
Not surprising that Naomi isn't competing, she's not playing any junior tourneys from now on apart from the slams (and she's unlikely to play RG juniors because of Surbiton). Between tournaments she'll be training with Nick Bollittieri and David Felgate.
I agree...her goal for the rest of this year is to be ranked around 180 and win a junior slam. However, Felgate isn't too concerned with setting her goals atm, he feels this is a year for concentrating on building for the future and working on her game.
With her big leftie game, better volleying skills, more variety and more nous in constructing the points she'll be a big threat at Wimbledon and the US Open
