She must be amazing. Im 14, neally 15 and have seen some half decent people at my school but none would get anywhere near an top juniors in the world, wouldn't win a single game IMO so to be doing so well is astonishing. The LTA really need to give this girl the backing.
Tara's entered for a 10K in Caracas this week. She's picked a great tournament as she's got direct entry and the entry list is so weak that the 8th seed is ranked 1296 !!!!

Given how weak the field is for this tournament, Tara was very unlucky to draw the 5th seed who's from Venezuala and is ranked 768 and has made three 10K quarters and a semi this year.
The match was very close, Tara lost 6-4, 7-5 in the end
I've got Tara Moore on my watch list for the juniors. I didn't know she was playing seniors already! Well done, girl. I'll have to keep an eye on that one.
Yeah, she's quite amazing. Only 14 and already she's made a 10K quarter-final. She has 2 tournaments worth of ranking points and the futures in Caracas she played this week will be the 3rd tournament and will give her, her first world ranking. She's also ranked something like 300ish in juniors so expect her to break the top 100 within the next 18 months.
Definately an extremely promising prospect. At the moment although there's no British woman in the top 100, there's a lot more talented young players starting to make big inroads than in the men's game.
