Is it too early to start the calculations for Andys total ranking points at the end of 2006?
If Andy does play another match until the end of the year (worse than the worst case scenario I hope ), I believe he will lose the points for Bangkok and Basel (180 points in total) and replace them with Madrid and Paris. If he does not play he will get 0 points.
Thus, Andy's 'current' year end total will be around 1220.
Looking back over this year's rankings, this points total would seem to indicate a maximum(?) ranking of 25-28. So Andy has already guaranteed reaching his own prediction of a top 30 finish.
